The kindergartner Kyle and I read to was very confused. His name was Kayin. He would pick out a book and tell us to read it to him, but after we read a few pages then he said the book was boring and went and picked a different book. One book the cook got fired then Kayin said me and Kyle were fired. Overall I like him.
Cate said:
I loved my kindergartner so much. She read to me and I read to her. Plus she had a smile the hole time witch was cute. Her name was Isabelle and she is a confident 5 year old. She named two of the birds in the first book we read. Isabelle named the mama bird Red and the baby bird Tip. She struggled a little with pronouncing words to me other wise she was cute and great.

Jakai and I had a fun.It was fun because we read books we both like. Jakai was answering questions correctly. Jakai was repeating what I was saying because he could not read. He got to pick books that he liked. When it was his turn to read he he was sounding it on and got the word right. That why I had fun with my kindergarten Jakai.

I was partnered with Maggie to read with a kindergartner. We would start to read a book and on like the 5th page she would say "Lets read different book" she was very nice though. I liked her very much. She had some trouble pronouncing the bigger words like: because, ocean, and missing. We would to correct her, and she was very positive about reading. she had very good story's to tell us and one of them was that "she saw a gigantic shark and they cut it open and a shoe came out." She was awesome! :-)

I had a nice time with my Kindergartner. It was a little difficult at first because when we were in the middle of a book she would just say "I don't care about this book anymore." When we were talking about fish she shared a most unpleasant story about a shark the story was, "We saw this ginormous shake and then they cut it open and a shoe came out." she said. She was so cute

I think reading to kindergartners is fun.I liked it because I can teach them how to read harder books like 3rd grade and maybe even 4th grade.Today I read to a kindergartner and she was a little shy but she read some pages of the book.Another thing is that I would ask her a question. She might struggle on somethings but i would help her.Another thing is that she would say,"I don't like this book." In a quite way.Another thing is that I would try and let her read a page but she wouldn't but sometimes she would read a page or two.If she read a page i would give her a high five and say,"Good job."The books we read where.Polar bear Polar bear what do you hear.Another book that we read was Super Fly Guy.We didn't get to read the whole thing because she would say,"That's nasty." because there was a part in the story that Fly Guy liked the trash can. Then we had to stop reading and it was over. She was very cute and a very fast learner. That's why reading to a kinder garner was fun.
